Chevrolet Repair: 2000 Blazer heating Problem, coolant system, engine gaskets

Question
I had work done on the car lasts mouth and I had my thermostat replaces and Engine gaskets fix.  But know my heater does not work.It just bows Cold air,  could this be due to something they did.

Answer
Hi Estella, to answer your question short, yes it is. The lack of heat indicates air in the coolant system. This can cause "hot spots" in your engine as the air gets hotter than the coolant and can even cause overheating. Go back and ask them to finish the job they started. They shouldn't charge you to bleed the system, as it should have been done to complete the other work they did. Good luck.
