Chevrolet Repair: 98 Chev S10 Pick Up, fuel pump, fuel lines

Question
I have just replaced the fuel pump on my truck and it still won't start. Do I have to prime it or something?
Any help would be great...thx

Answer
the only thing you should have to do is cycle the key a couple of times to get fuel back into the system (prime). It shouldn't, take much though. If that doesn't work start backtracking through your work and look for something unplugged or crossed fuel lines. also check the fuel pump fuse and see you didn't blow it by accident. hope this helps.
