Chevrolet Repair: 95 Tahoe losing power and hot floorboards, tahoe sport, gm parts

Question
I have a 95 Tahoe Sport, 350 TBI, that is now struggling to go up mild hills.  Gasa mileage is down to under 10 mpg (was 15 before).  Also noticed the floor is now getting very warm.  Is this possibly the catalytic going bad?  Engine running rich for some reason and corrupting the catalytic?  Plugs/wires replaced 10K miles ago with GM parts.

Answer
First off the engine doesn't have to run rich or lean to clog the cat, it does this all on its own if it's old enough. If your not throwing any codes or noticing any real problems and it has stock exhuast, it is possible the cats clogged. Without being there to look at it myself I can't say for sure but the cat is defintely a place to start.
