Chevrolet Repair: 92 Silverado 350 dying and hesitation, valve motor, pressure gauge

Question
QUESTION: The truck will idle fine for 30 to 60 seconds then just slow down and die. During acceleration it hesitates severely before picking up speed. It runs great at speed and when it is idling it purrs like a kitten til it "starves out". Also tends to die on deceleration especially at slow speeds. Have changd plugs, wires, rotor, cap, idler valve motor. Truck has lots of miles but still runs good at speed. This is erratic but becoming more consistent. I can usually keep it idling at stops by throttling the pedal when I hear it starting to die off of idle, but this is getting old at stoplights!
ANSWER: Check you fuel filter lately?

QUESTION: Yes. Sorry I forgot to mention it was changed also, changed PCV valve, sprayed vaccuum hoses trying to find a leak and none found.

Answer
Is the fuel pump in the gas tank?
If yes, I would check the pickup filter located in the tank at the end of the fuel pump.
Fords are also VERY notorious for this problem. Runs for about a few minutes and quits. Once the sediments fall away from the filter, it starts back up but will continue to do it again.
One way to check this is to put a pressure gauge in the line somwhere and watch the pressure. If it drops just before it stalls then you have found your problem.
