Chevrolet Repair: S10 engine swap, chevy lovers, chevytalk

Question
1987 S10 had a 2.8 V6 that failed. My son decided to put a 2000 4.3 out of a Blazer in it. Everything is hooked up. New wiring harness from Howell. The engine will only fire on cyl's 1 and 5, all cyl's have fire. It appears to be no fuel to cyl's. I pulled plug on #2 and shot a litle gas in and it fired. We have two computers, one fires on one cyl. and the other fires on two cly's. Is there any way to determine if it is the computer without a diagnostic analyzer? It has TBI.
