Chevrolet Repair: Removing rear glass window, rubber insulation, chevy c

Question
Curt i have a 1985 chevy c-10 with a 1 piece rear window and i need to remove it to fix rust in the channel and get the truck painted i was curious if you know any tricks to removing it and should i attempt to pop it inwards or outwards?

Answer
The best way to do it is to remove the rubber insulation on the outside, then on the inside, very carefully take a razor and cut the polyurethane, then you will want to push it out. To save the glass and money have a helper and be very careful and gentle, it will take some time but you will like the end result.
