Chevrolet Repair: 2000 Chevy Malibu, cylinder head gasket, 2000 chevy malibu

Question
I recently had the water pump and thermostat change on my 2000 Chevy Mailibu. The car continues to overheat. Could this be from the coolant sensor?

Hi Jason, If this is a V6 engine the problem is likely to be the cylinder head gasket. They don't like to be over heated and will put air into the cooling system making for a air lock and no coolant circulation.
