Chevrolet Repair: oil leak, oil filter housing, filter connection

Question
I know this is not the buick sight, but I'm hoping your GM knowledge corrallates w, my 3.8l supercharged Buick motor.  My car is shooting a stream of oil when the throttle is engaged. It doesn't appear to leak when it's idling.  It appears to stream right above my oil filter housing.   Lost and concerned.

Answer
park car, drain oil, take off filter, wipe area clean and inspect. be prepared for crack, bad filter  connection,  dirt, and have fresh oil and fresh filter. and dont cross thread, the pressure of the running engine under a load cause it to leak there for some reason. look and inspect and then repair, if its a faulty filter connection, that easy. but you may have chipped crack or cross threaded the filter..

hope this assists you..
