Chevrolet Repair: windshield leek, old chevy truck, chevy pickup

I have a 97 chevy pickup, there is a leek at the top under the molding of the windshield is there a way to fix that or do i have to take it to a windshield place and have the reset the windshield.

There are a number of reasons a windshield could leak. There could be rust, bad urethane placement, too little adhesive, uneven placement of urethane, etc..
so for use cheap poor working folks, i suggest getting  sealant or  tube of blakc rubber, and applying it to the area.  if  the leak is out side sometimes you can patch it so to speak.  if its a bad leak the  best route would be to go have the whole thing replaced but that gets into $$$$, which can be bad/ good depending on who u are.  most times ive had a leak i apply  a good  automotive sealant and keep an eye on it. i had a  leak on a old chevy truck, the patch outlasted the truck.  :) hope this helps you some.
