Chevrolet Repair: 200 z24 caviler, diagnostic check, inspection sticker

HI I HAVE HAD MY CAR FOR ABOUT 8 MON. AND THE CAR JUST STARTED TURNING OFF ON ITS ON I WOULD RE-START IT AND EVERYTHING WOULD WORK THEN A FEW DAYS AGO I STARTED IT AND I WOULD ACCELERATE AND 30MILES WOULD ONLY GO ABOUT 20 AND SO ON.... THEN IT TURNED OFF COMPLETELY ON ME TODAY WHEN I STARTED IT IT STARTS THEN GOES RIGHT BACK OFF I JUST SPEND OVER 1000 IN OTHER REPAIRS FOR MOTOR MOUNTS ETC. AND IT ALREADY AS 91000 MILES SO CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM MAY BE AND THE PRICE RANGE IT ALSO SHAKES REALLY HARD I JUST GOT THE HORN REPAIRED BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A HORN TO PASS AN INSPECTION BUT WHEN HE FINANCED ME THE CAR THE HORN DID NOT WORK BUT HE STILL MANAGED TO GET THE INSPECTION STICKER PUT ON THE CAR I'M STARTING TO GET THE FEELING THAT IT WAS DONE THE ILLEGAL WAY SO EITHER HE IS GREEDY FOR MONEY OR THE CAR COULDN'T PASS MEANING SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH IT THAT HE DIDN'T WANT ME TO KNOW HELP ME THANKS

Hi Ebony,

The best thing to do at this point, is take it to a place who can do a diagnostic scan.  Have them tell you all about the car.  Many of the reasons for your complaints are too numerous to tell, without being able to diagnostically test the car.  I would need an hour to determine what all is wrong with it.  

Don't pay more than $75 for this diagnostic check up.  Try a service station who can work on cars around your cars year.  Look at the other cars in the parking lot.  Are the older, or the same age as yours?
