Chevrolet Repair: 1987 blazer starting, chevy blazer, modual

I have a 1987 chevy blazer with a tbi that doesn't want to start back up after I have driven it.  If I wait about an hour or so it will finally start.  I had a 88 at p/u that did the sane thing and it was the modual in the dist.  Think it might be the same thing again? Thank you

Hi Erik,

Sounds like a place to start.  The O2 takes over in closed loop, but sometimes it goes back to time tested, age old simple things.  Coil could be over heating.  Module could be bad.  

This module could be tested at the auto parts store.  Do that before you buy one.
