Answer
Hi Joe,

Most of the time the problem here is a roller has jammed up and popped off the rail it belongs on.  Then the window tips and falls.  Could be something else, but you need to take off the door panel and look inside to find out.

Open the door, and remove all screws you can see.  Remove the door panel by popping the plugs out of the holes on the door.  Use a tool for this, or a flat pry bar.  You slip the tool between the panel and the door, and pry away from the door.

Once the door panel is out of the way, look at the window as it travels up and down.  See what is happening.  If it is a roller that has popped out, see if it is free, or binding up; by spinning it with your fingers.

After you found what the problem is, roll the window up and tape it in place.  Use duct tape for its strength, but remember that it may leave a sticky residue.  Be careful of where you apply the tape.  You will probably have to tape the bottom of the window to the door, both inside and out (where the dew wipes would go).  The window will drop an inch or so, but the tape should hold it from there.

Now you can disassemble anything you need to in order to fix the problem.  Reassemble the opposite way.

Hope this helps.  If I am too vague, or if you determine what has caused the window to fall off track and need more help, write back.
