Chevrolet Repair: 350 block, bolt mains, valve size

Question
Could you please tell me if the crankshaft and heads from 1978 Pick Up 350 four bolt main fit on a 1970 Impala  350 four bolt main

Answer
back then, a 350 is a 350. the only thing you have to consider is the valve size. in 78, G.M. was getting horsepower conservative. on some of the 350s they used 156 valves, but in 70 im sure they were 202 valves. now, if you were to put 202 heads on where 156 heads were used, the outcome would be more horsepower. you should be ok with that. now, the crank. you should be ok using that, i dont think G.M. changed the journals, or the stroke of the crank. best way to make sure, pull out both cranks and lay them side by side and look at them. like i said, back then, a 350 is a 350. it should be ok, especially because they are both 4 bolt mains. any more questions, please let me know.
