Chevrolet Repair: tune up 350 engine, e mail address, dozens upon dozens

I have a 1979 chevy 350 bored 030 with speed pro flat top pistons on pink rods, 270 comp cam, double roller timing chain, the cam has been degree, with a new set of 060 vortec heads with crane roller roller arms, i am still running the hei dist, the carb is the holley avenger 670,I installed ac spark plugs 41-932 and gaped at 045, the timing is set at 8 but the truck runs like it is not firing right or is not in time, I have checked all the valves, and for vacuums leaks, there is something that i am missing, any suggestion?
