Chevrolet Repair: 350 Corvette excessive rocker oiling on #8 exhaust only, roller rockers, excessive oil

Question
I did not pass emissions on this engine due to idle was too high in hydro's.  Engine is a 350 L46 (350/350HP) corvette.  Mostly stock but with anti-bleed lifters and 1.5 full roller rockers.

Thinking it was tight valves since I have not adjusted the valves since the rebuild 2000 miles ago, I went to adjust them with the engine running and was sprayed with oil upon start up (already warmed the engine up before the adjustment process).  Oil sprayed very hard thru the top oiling hole in the #8 exhaust roller rocker.

Is this normal or do I have lifter problems ?  Thinking the problem was bad rocker oiling hole size, I swapped it with the intake rocker from the same cylinder that was oiling just fine.  Same thing happened with the exhaust side only - excessive oil spraying.

Any clues ?

Thanks

Go here, and ask that in the Corvette section, http://www.chevytalk.org/threads/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB39

or the Performance section.  http://www.chevytalk.org/threads/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB64&PHPSESSID=4634de...

That Corvette section is full of mechanics and owners that specialize in Vettes.
