Chevrolet Repair: HICCUP, abs light, dash lights

MY 95 TAHOE WITH 350 GAS ENGINE HAD WHAT I CALL A HICCUP. IT WAS KIND OF LIKE A HOME POWER SURGE.AFTER INITIAL DRIVE TO WORK ABOUT 15 MILES, FOR LESS THAN A SPLIT SECOND IT DIED AND CAME BACK ON. i WAS AT ABOUT 53 MPH WHEN THIS HAPPEN. I NOTICE MY RPMS RISE A LITTLE AND THE ONLY DASH LIGHTS I NOTICE TO COME ON AND THEN GO OFF WERE THE BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS IT DROVE FINE FOR THE NEXT MILE AND HALF. OUTSIDE TEMP WAS ABOUT 32-35 F. THEN WHEN I LEFT WORK THAT EVENING, TEMP ABOUT 50 F, I DECIDED TO TEST MY A QUICKER ACCERATION THAN  NORMAL, THIS IS AFTER ABOUT A MILE AND HALF OF DRIVING. FROM THE STOP SIGN, I STEP ON THE GAS, AFTER THE TURN WAS COMPLETED I GAVE ABOUT 3/4 ACCERATOR. WHEN THE AUTO TRANS WENT TO SECOND, I FELT WHAT SEAMS WAS A LITTLE JERK, AND NOTICE MY TACH TO RISE A LITTLE BUT THIS WAS ALL. EVERYTHING SMOOTHED OUT.NO MORE PROBLEMS WHEN I GOT HOME AFTER 16 MILES. I THEN DECIDED TO DRIVE MY OTHER VEHICLE TO PREVENT A BREAKDOWN UNTIL I CAN CHECK ON POSSIBLE ANSWERS AND DO SOME TESTING. I HAVE NOT CHECK FOR ANY CODES YET AND NOT SURE IF I WILL HAVE ANY SINCE I DID NOT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON.
QUESTION, HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS AND HAVE ANY POSSIBLE CHECKS TO DO?

Hi Jim, I really have nothing to offer on this problem, it needs to happen more often. Try this to maybe find a problem. Using a garden hose completely wash down the engine while it is running. You might see a difference in the way it runs, and if so replace all the plug wires, dist cap,rotor and plugs. Maybe you should do this anyway. One thing that also isn't right is the abs light come on. This tells me that it most likely lost power to the abs unit, this could indicate a bad ignition switch. I have seen the ignition switches cause some strange things to happen.
