Chevrolet Repair: 99 Venture coolant leak, intake manifold gasket, coolant leak

Question
WE have a 99 Venture that has coolant leaking into the engine oil (we detected a jelly-like substance on the oil cap).  We replaced the engine a year and a half ago (13,000 miles) after the original experienced the same problem which we had fixed but the cam shaft seized.  What could be causing this?  The low coolant light has come on and there is no indication of coolant leak in the driveway.
Thanks
Tom

Answer
Hello Tom, this is a very common problem with the 3.1 and 3.4 engines. It is the intake manifold gasket leaking into the engine oil. They did make a new gasket with metal tabs so you don't crush the plastic part of the gasket, also increased the bolt torque at the ends. Take care of this leak very soon so you don't need to replace the engine.
