Chevrolet Repair: 1997 chevy blazer, spark plug wires, chevy blazer

My 97 blazer won't start was hesitating before it just wouldn't start.Changed ignition coil today still won't start where should I goto next.I smell fuel so it mustbe getting fuel.Cap & rotor next?

Hi Bob, The first thing to do is make sure that you have spark at the coil. Remove the coil wire and crank the engine, you should see a large spark coming out of the coil. If you have it there then check at the spark plug wires. If that is no good then look at the cap. Most of the time it is the coil wire itself arching to something.
