Chevrolet Repair: K1500 4X4 CHEVEROLET, control arm bushings, tie rod ends

Question
I have a 5.7 350 K1500 4X4 Cheverolet adn I have 2 problems with it.. I replaced my left front drive axle because it lost all the grease out of its boots and was making popping noises and I replaced all the tie rod ends and ball joints to include brakes and right and left side calipers...Now it pops when I turn it all the way to the left and right when I move. Got an idea whats wrong? Also I was driving yesterday and my truck stopped on me ...The engine turns, gets spark, voltage is fine, tried hitting feul tank while cranking truck, tried jumping off, I think it is the feul pump but am not sure..Do you have any suggestions..I am in the military so I don't make much money so I need to do the work myself so any info will be greatly appreciated...Sincerely,SSG Hyatt

Answer
First, thank you for your service to our country.
Check the upper and lower control arm bushings.
The failure to start....
Check to see if the fuel pump is kicking on when the key is turned to the on position. Should be a slight humm to the tank. You might get someone to turn the key on for you while listening.
If no humm is present, check the fuse under the dash and the relay under the hood.
