Chevrolet Repair: Chevrolet S10 Tahoe fuse location., oil pressure sending unit, chevrolet s10

Question
Van, I had a leak in my oil pressure sending unit but when I went to replace it I noticed that there was a nylon tie holding the wiring harness to the sending unit. I know I should have removed the left tire so I could have better access but was in a hurry and reached in to clip the tie with a pair of side cutters. I'm sure you've guessed. I also cut the wires, all three, to the sending unit. I replaced the sending unit then crawled under the truck to reconnect the harness wires with crimp connections. The truck has not started since. I checked the continuity of all three wires after the repair and the meter shows that the repair was good but the truck refuses to start. I thought that perhaps I had blown a fuse but cannot find the fuse block. Where is it located on that model? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Nick,
That sender is also a switch for the fuel pump, and supplies power to the fuel pump whenever oil pressure is above 4 PSI.
I believe you are correct in thinking you might have blown a fuse.
On regular pickups there was a fuse holder speciffically for the fuel pump, near the fuel pump relay, on the firewall.
I'm not sure on the S10. If the fuse isn't there, it would be in the regular fuse block, which is either under the hood, or under the dash, near the parking brake pedal.
