Chevrolet Repair: Heater blower, silverado 4x4, heater blower

Good evening James,

I have a 1995 Chevy 1/2 ton, Silverado, 4x4.
The A/C quit working a couple of months ago. Last week the heater blower stopped working in any other position but the floor (not great for the winter weather coming our way).

Two things to check.We will start with the easier first.
Under the hood you should find a ball the size of a softball.
There are two vacuum lines going to it. One from your intake area to the ball and one from the ball to your control door.
Check these for leaks as your control door operates on vacuum.
@nd thing to check is the door itself.
It is not uncommon for the door to be blocked by something dropped into the defrost vents.
