Chevrolet Repair: 1997 chevy pickup 4.3 v6 no start, chevy pickup, fuel pump

truc has gas ,battery good, cranks ok, i believe its not getting fuel how can i be sure, if its the fuel pump

spray a little starting fluid into the air intake and see if the truck will attempt to start on the starting fluid, if it runs for a second or 2 on the starting fluid then your not getting any fuel, if that makes no difference then check to see if you have spark
