Chevrolet Repair: rusted fuel filter, liquid wrench, fuel filter

i haave a 1999 cavalier.  it has about 180,000 miles on it.  when going to change the fuel filter for the first time, the line nut is rusted to the fuel filter.  i am weary of busting the fuel line.  any ideas how to loosen it up?

Spray some liquid wrench, or Knock er loose, or some other type of penetrant on it several days in a row, and let it soak. Then, when you have the wrenches on it, don't just try to power it off....tap the wrench with a small hammer in the direction you want it to turn.
