Chevrolet Repair: Not started for ten years, war horse, distributer

Question
I am restoring a 1973 Corvette for daily driver use.  The car has sat for 10 years without being moved or started.  I have completely repaired the brake, fuel, and cooling system.  The last step is to fire the old war horse.  My plan is to remove all plugs and ground the ignition.  Use some top oil in each cylinder and crank for awhile in hopes of getting some oil into the bearings.  If this is overkill or completely useless please let me know.  If there is something else I should do please help me with that also.

Answer
all that is fine but I would also pull the distributer and use a drill to turn the oil pump and prime the motor, this way you are positive that you have sent oil everywhere it needs to be, other than this you should be fine, did you try and turn the engine by hand yet to see if the rings are free ?? you may want to try that to before attempting to turn the key
