my electric carb was making my engine keep ruining after it shut off,i put a manual on it but it keeps running for a little before cutting off i use reg- gas what do i need to do to stop this,thanks

I think that should have a fast idle solenoid that will allow the throttle plate to close further when the ignition is shut off.

And you probably have carbon deposits inside the engine, which get white hot, and ignite fuel, even after the ignition is shut off.

Do a google search for SeaFoam, or read this forum post on water injection.
