Chevrolet Repair: Malibu anti-theft system, time bomb, many cars

Question
The common failure of these systems to work properly seems to warrant a class action law suit against GM. Wait ten minutes every time you start the car or pay $475 (the quote I got for my daughter's car). It's like they planted a time bomb in the car. Any chance of this ever happening?

HI Ron, Really we don't see that many cars that have that problem. It does happen though and not only on the Malibu.
The more electrical stuff they build into the cars, the more to go wrong!
