Questioni'm going to buy a S10 4X4 1994, it has 65.000 miles runs good and the price is not that bad. But i would like to know what to expect, what are the most common problems, and if you know at what milage/time these problems happen. Another question, is there any way to know if the odometer has been altered?

AnswerBy the 94 model, I believe there is a tamper indicator in the odometer, that leaves a red line exposed between some of the numbers if it is disassembled. Not sure on that though.
Just plug wires and distributor cap is what I ran into near that milage.
Keep the fuel filter changed every few years. There is always the possibility of needing a fuel pump, but there is no specific mile interval. Some go out within 30,000 miles, and some last 200,000.
Serpentine belt should need replaced by now. Brakes, depending on how it was used.
Other than that, it should be in pretty good shape if it was well taken care of.
