Chevrolet Repair: oil pan, crankshaft pulley, crossover pipe

I have a 1992 chevy pick up 305 eng oil pam is leaking want to change it
does the crosover pipe have to be takeing down so i can get the oil pan out

Hello Pete, I think you have to remove that crossover pipe and jack the engine up to remove the pan. Just remove the 2 long through bolts from the engine mounts and jack it up on the crankshaft pulley using a piece of wood and jack.
