Chevrolet Repair: 94 s10 Tahoe Blazer, weks, bad smells

Hi Mark, I read your letter to Jon on 1-25-2006 and it was like reading a history of my truck the past few years. I need to know what do you do after you have done EVERYTHING you suggested for the problem with fuel injection. I have even replaced the spider valve twice and I still have the problem. Rough idle, stalling and bad smells. I have left her with two different mechanics for weks at a time and no one seems to know what to do any more. I have read about ultrasonic cleaning but have no knowledge of this procedure. Is it something to look into? PLEASE help me! This truck has been with me since birth and I don't want to give her up!

Hi Gail, This sounds to me like the EGR valve is getting carbon it! There is a EGR gasket out that has a screen in it to stop the carbon from getting into the EGR valve.
