Chevrolet Repair: S-10 wont start; cold morning, cold morning, pressure test

Question
My 2003 ZR-2 S-10 will not start.  It will crank but will not quite fire.  Thinking possibly fuel pump?  It is about 10 Deg. F and this has not been a problem in the past.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions,

Rob

Answer
Hi Rob, Yes it could be a bad fuel pump, you should do a pressure test on the fuel system to check it. You need to have around 55 to 62 psi. If your truck is under 36k on the miles it is under warranty so I would take it to the dealer.

Have a Nice Day
