Chevrolet Repair: 2005 cobalt suspension, cv joints, nuts and bolts

Question
mark,
my son recently had new springs put on the front and rear lowering the car 2 inches. a short time later he noticed that on acceleration from a standing start he gets what feels to be a slight wobble in the front end. once he gets to abot 20 mph the wobble disappears and is not noticed on decelleration. would lowering it as he did have an effect on the cv joints maybe? any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
sean

Answer
Hi Sean, This shouldn't be a problem with the CV joints. They are made to work at angles and 2 inches isn't that much. I would make sure that all the nuts and bolts are tight in the suspension. Without driving the car to feel this problem I really can't help you out.

Sorry I can't be more help
