Chevrolet Repair: Help!!!!!, torque converter clutch, upper radiator hose

Question
Happy New Year!
I have a 93 Corsica 3.1 L 6 cylinder. When I drive this car almost anytime after 20-30 miles when I start to slow down to come to a stop, I feel the car shimmy? choke up?  and it stalls .  I put it in park and it starts back up but as soon as I put it in drive it stalls, usually I have to do this 2-3 times and then put it in 2 to get it to take off withoutout stalling. It was diagnosed with an EGR valve problem which I replaced but the car continues to do this. If I leave home and drive 5 miles or even 10 it doesn't happen.   Do you have any ideas as to where next I could look?     Someone suggested an  oxygen sensor problem?        Any input will be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Jennifer, This is the transmission torque converter clutch causing this to happen. You can just remove the connector to the transmission and your problem will be fixed. This will not hurt your trans at all!!! Look down at the front of the transmission and you will see a blue connector, disconnect it and your done. This is the only plug you will see going to the front of the trans below the upper radiator hose.

Have a Great New Year
