Chevrolet Repair: 95 Blazer brakes & signals., turn signals, steering wheel

Question
1)  My side brake lights have stopped working but the one in the middle still works.  I have replaced both bulbs but still no lights.

2)  Turn signals don't work so I replaced all flashers and there are still no signals.  My hazards do not work either.

Thanks for any advice/direction you can provide.  It's an invaluable service that you are providing!

Answer
Has there been any work performed under the dash on this vehicle?. As your problem is most likely the TURN SIGNAL ASSEMBLY within the steering column and or the numerous wires that go from this switch down thru the steering column to the plug connector located under the dash on the steering column is either faulty and or there is a fault within one of the wires in the steering column.

To access this assembly requires special tools to remove the steering wheel and the locking plate in order to access the turn signal assembly.

The tools are absolutely necessary as you will damage the steering wheel and locking plate if you try and remove these parts.

This is a job for your dealer or a knowledgeable repair facility.
