Chevrolet Repair: 98 blazer brake question, brake pads, caliper

Question
Van, I replaced the front pads on this blazer and they worked great then I did the back brake pads one side at the time. When I was done and did the test run the back brakes would not release. They are not fully locked but still enough pressure to heat them up.The front brakes still work fine. So this has me stumped?  Thanks for any help....Devin

Answer
Hi Devin,
May be that you need to remove the caliper, and remove the piston, and polish the inside of the bore, and clean the piston.
When you push that piston back in, you are using sealing and wear surfaces that have been exposed to moisture and dirt, and it may just need cleaned up.
