Chevrolet Repair: Turn signal fuse keeps blowing, chevy s10, signal switch

turn siginal fuse keeps blowing I have already changed out all the bulbs and the flasher, The emergency lights still work. Is there a fuse inside the steering column? 1993 Chevy s10 2.8 liter V6. Is there something I am missing?

Hi Vernon,
No fuse in the steering column, but there is a signal switch, as well as a good supply of wires close to rub points.

But look in your owners manual, and see what, if anything, is also operated by the same fuse.

You can unplug the wires going into the steering column, and see if the fuse blows then.
