Chevrolet Repair: brake lights, brake light switch, plastic button

I have a 1998 s-10 blazer. My brake lights stick on killing my battery.

Up under the dash there is a plastic brake light switch that has a plastic button that touches the brake pedal arm just above the pedal. Push this switch with your hand towards the brake pedal arm and see if this solves your problem. If not, replace the switch.
