Hello,

I have a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird.  Over the last several days the signal lights have been flashing slower and slower and stopped altogether today.  The lights will glow but not flash.

I have replaced the flasher unit, and also all the bulbs.  All the light related fuses are OK as well.

I'm hoping you can point out something that I'm missing.  Thank you for your time.

There are TWO FLASHERS. One is for the EMERGENCY/HAZARD FLASHERS of which is probably the one you replaced, And then there is another called the TURN SIGNAL FLASHER of which is the one you need to replace.

The TURN SIGNAL FLASHER is usually mounted under the dash along side of the steering column on a small metal "C" clip and is sometimes well hidden. Buy a new T/S flasher so you know what to look for.
