Answer
Your answer makes NO SENSE at all.

The ignition switch is mounted under the dash on the side of the steering column.

First you have to disable BOTH electrical supply circuits in order to DE-ACTIVATE the steering wheel AIR BAG and if you do NOT know HOW to de-activate it and you accidently deploy it, It can KILL you DEAD due to the extreme force when it deploys.

SECOND you need a special tool to remove the steering wheel.

THIRD you need special tools to remove the steering wheel LOCK PLATE.

FOURTH you need to remove the lock plate components and then you have to remove the turn signal/Hazard electrical switch assembly BEFORE you can even get to the ignition key cylinder.
