Chevrolet Repair: why is my fuel pump keep shuting down, fuel pump relay, chevy camaro

Question
hello i have a 1991 v6 rs 3.1L chevy camaro and about 3 months ago i came home and parked my car and about 20 minutes later i went to start it up and it started up for about 1 sec then suddenly turned off and it wouldnt turn on anymore. it still turns the engine, but theres no fuel getting to the fuel injection. i noticed that the fuel pump wasnt turning on when i turn the key and trust me when you turn the key to a camaro you will hear the fuel pump kick on for 2 seconds and then turns off intil you start the engine. i changed the fuel pump and it ran good for 3 days and then it did the same exact thing. so i took it to a shop and they checked for spark and power to the fuel pump and the fuel pump itself. they said it was the fuel pump that was bad so i paid them 400 dollars to change it. it ran good for 9 days and then it did the same thing. i took it back and he said nothing was wrong with the car,but i knew he was wrong. i took it home and the next day i turned it on and went to the store and when i went to turn it on it left me stranded once again. i had it towed to my house and thats where i left it. ive changed the fuel pump relay, spark plugs/wires,fuel pump, fuses, inline fuel filter checked for spark, checked for power to the fuel pump,oil/filter change and i changed the oil pressure/fuel pump shut down switch but still the problem still remains. the ecm sends a signal to shutdown the fuel pump for some reason.    what could be the problem that the ecm shuts down the fuel pump? also i almost forgot when i disconect the battery for a day, in the morning i put the batery back in and it will start and run for about 2-3 days if im lucky.please if you have any sugestions or any kind of advice that will help me out at all i would try them all thank you for for your time

Answer
OK, What I am suspecting is what you have is most likely a simple intermittent wiring problem such as a loose connection either on the battery voltage side or on the ground side of the fuel pump circuit.

I have seen quite a few faulty connectors right at the fuel pump connections that are easily over looked as they usually provide NEW connectors in with the new fuel pump but most people simply throw them away.

Also the BLACK GROUND wire that comes from the pump and usually grounds on the vehicles frame near the gas tank may be loose or faulty. CHECK IT.
