Chevrolet Repair: correct firing order, chevy s10 pickup, s10 pickup

What is the correct firing order for a 1993 chevy s10 pickup?  It is a not a vortex.  4.3L v6. 4X4.

Hello Megan,
The book I have right here is a 94-99, but I would expect the firing order to be the same.

It is also cast into the intake manifold, but should be
1-6-5-4-3-2....with HEI ignition, or with EDI ignition.
Both have a clockwise rotation of the distributor also, by the way.
