Question
hello
my son just recently bought a 94 camaro it had been a rebuild wreck he has been doing body work on it for awhile when we first bought it. it would start and run now it acts as if it is out of gas he has checked the fuel pump gas line and it all is workin fine he is looking at spark plugs now do u have any advice as to what his next step would be he is 17 and this is his dream car like most young men to be honest i went broke to buy the car so cant afford a garage any help you give is greatly appreciated thank you

Answer
Hello David, The first thing is to spray some carb cleaner into the air intake while the engine is being cranked over. If it runs for a short spell then your problem is the fuel pump. If not then you need to look at the igntion system. Remove the coil wire and crak the engine over, spark should jump out of the coil at least 1-1.5 inches and be very blue.

Let me know what you find here and if needed what engineis in it.
