Chevrolet Repair: 01 Blazer Rear Hatch, rear hatch, door switches

Question
Van,
I am not sure if you remember or not but you gave me a solution to try to help me get the rear hatch of my 01 blazer xtreme open, your suggestion was to check the connection to the door lock unlock module on the drivers door .. since then i have checkd the connection and actually repaced the whole unit and i still have the same problem i cant get the rear hatch open and cannot unlock/lock the car from inside the the cab but, i can lock/unlock via the the keyless entry

Answer
Gee Dave,
Still sounds like the switch panel inside, since the remote works.
I don't have a wire diagram for it, but it is possible that the remote electric door lock motors have a separate fuse or circuit breaker than the door switches. Did you happen to check to see if there was power at the switch connector?
That could explain it if there is a button in the cab to open the hatch, but none on the remote. I just have no way to look, and no experience in that hatch.

Is there any click or noise at all from the rear hatch, either with the buttons or the remote?

Might be time for a trip to the body shop of the dealership.
