Chevrolet Repair: 2001 cavalier 2.2 overheating, coolant system, head gasket

Question
2001 cavalier 2.2 overheating. Changed thermostat and then head gasket, flushed cooling system. Still overheats after driving just 4 blocks. Any ideas?

Answer
Restriction in the bottom and middle sections of the radiator, Is the cooling fan operating correctly ?. Did you perform a COOLANT SYSTEM PRESSURE TEST to see if you may possibly still have a leak in the head gasket, a craked haed or a cracked block. Rare but possibility that the impeller on the inside of the water pump may be loose on the shaft thus no coolant flow.
