Chevrolet Repair: crankshaft position sensoor, chevy lumina z34, 1992 chevy lumina

I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina Z34, 3.4L motor. I need to know exactly where the crankshaft position sensor is and how to change it out.

The crankshaft sensor is located at the crankshaft. Before you go replacing it, What diagnostics did you perform to make you believe that this is your problem or are you just guessing and replacing parts in hopes of getting lucky ?.

It could also be located in the engine block below the spark plugs depending upon which style system you have.
