Chevrolet Repair: PASSENGER WINDOW, window switches, side switch

Question
I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING 200 CEV VENTURE MINIVAN. THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW WOULD ONLY GO DOWN BUT NOT UP. AFTER ABOUT A HOUR IT WOULD NOT GO DOWN OR UP. COULD THIS BE A BAD SWICTH? aSLO WOULD THE DRIVER SIDE SWITCH OPERATE THE WINDOW ALTHOUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE IS OUT OR DO THEY WORK AS A UNIT? LASTLY COULD THE MOTOR BE OUTON THE WINDOW

Answer
The window circuitry first goes into the DRIVERS control panel then branches out to the individual window switches on the other doors.

What I need you to do is to remove the passengers side window switch and tell me how many wires are attached to the switch and what colors they are.

Once I have this information and you posess a standard 12 volt automotive test light we can do some simple tests to determine IF the drivers switch The passengers switch or the window motor itself it intermittently faulty.

It would also be necessary to also posess an OHM METER.

If you posess the test light, Ohm meter and some basic automotive experience in using these items we can find your problem.

It is also very useful if you can take pictures of the switches and the wire connections and e-mail them to me at:
