hi my names will, i have a peoblem with my chevy s10. for some reason now it hasn't been starting good and now it barely starts at all and when i look in the throttle body i don't see any gas going through it and that got me thinking if the throttle body need to be cleaned or replaced or if it is the fuel pump. it starts in the moring but when u turn it off it really doesn't start for about 20-25 min. the only way i got it to start is by spraying starter fluid in the throttle body. my dad and uncle are stumded to. please help i'm out of ideas on what to do. will

I really like to test the pressure. it should be 13 PSI or more.
You could just need a filter.
If the pressure is good, you could have a crank sensor problem. it should be by the crankshaft damper pulley, and sends the signal to the ECM to operate the injectors.
You could also have a problem with the fuel pump relay. If it doesn't work, there is an oil pressure switch that will run the fuel pump, but it doesn't work till the oil presure builds up, and closes the switch.
If yours is working only on the oil pressure switch, after the engine warms up, it could take longer to build the pressure up with the warm thinner oil.
Find the fuel pump fuse, and jump battery voltage to it. That will make the pump run. See how it starts then.
