Chevrolet Repair: Heater, chevy blazer, heater hoses

I have a 1999 Chevy. Blazer V-6 Eng. the heater will just get warm, I have changed the Themostat and the engine Temp. is ok but heater will still just get warm. hope you can help  Thanks  Richard

Hello Richard, Well if it is as cold as it is here then you need more heat. Your heater core needs to be flushed out. To do this you need to remove both heater hoses from the engine and run water through the hoses both ways to clear the core. After you do this you will have great heat again.
