Chevrolet Repair: 97 rear wiper sticks, plastic retainers, chevy blazer

Question
97 chevy blazer LS
when I turn on the rear wiper, it sounds like the gears aren't totally together, and their skipping over the teeth.  I can't find a way in to get to the problem.  Is there a way to take apart the rear hatch inside panel? If so what do I look for, and how can I fix this problem

Thanks for your help :)

Answer
Hi Cindy, Locate and remove the screws on the rear panel and pry off the panel. You now can replace the rear wiper motor. The rear panel has plastic retainers that connect the panel to the gate along with a couple of screws.

Hope this helps
