Chevrolet Repair: 94 4.3 will not start, 12 volt, test light

Question
I have a 94 S10 4.3 multi port (spider injector) that has fire to the plugs, fuel to the injector, and has compression.  The coil, fuel pump, injector, and fuel filter have been replace.  When trying to start the truck it does not hit until i spray some carb cleaner in the intake.  The fuel injector has power going to it when the ignition is on. What else can i check?

Answer
What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

If you have ADDED anything to the vehicle prior to this problem, Check it FIRST.

Remove the fuel injector 2 terminal wire and instll a standard 12 volt tet light in the injectors place and as you try and start the engine the test light should flsah ON and OFF. DOES IT ?.

If NOT, Your fault is most likely the vehicles computer. HOWEVER, You need to do specific tests with special test equipment to determine WHAT caused the computer to fail.

If you do NOT find out WHY the computer failed and you insatll a new one you may DESTROY the new one.
