Chevrolet Repair: electrical problem or not, fuse box, battery connections


Question
i have 1999 suburban  will die at random and then be hard to start and also the voltage gage is running above nowhat it has been and some times less than normal. also there is fluxuation in the gge when blinkers are on. also now the security light is on and the radio is shorting out at times also.
we have had this to the chevrolet garage and they cant seem to fix it . they ran a check on the charging system and it checked out and also the fuel pump. the ignition switch was also replaced
this has been going on for about a month now any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Shelly, The only thing I can say here is to make sure that ALL battery connections are clean and tight. Check the terminals at the battery by removing them and looking at them to make sure they are clean. Check the main cable at the under hood fuse box too.
